Sept 16-26 - "The Dixie Swim Club" --- (Five Southern women, whose friendships began years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina's Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other's lives. May 12-22, 2011 --- "Tin Types" --- (With its time frame set between the turn of the 20th century and the onset of World War I, this chamber piece, with a singing-and-dancing cast of five, provides a musical history lesson focusing on an exciting period in American history. During this era, the country's population doubled, expanded by increased immigration that changed the cultural and ethnic makeup of the nation. June 24, 2011 --- "Army Jazz Band" --- (The United States Army's premier big band. This 19-member ensemble, formed in 1969, has received great acclaim both at home and abroad performing America's original art form, jazz. Concerts are designed to entertain all types of audiences. Custom compositions and arrangements highlight the group's creative talent and gifted soloists.
